Meinrad Schade (Swiss, born 1968). Lookat Member since 2003, is based in Zurich. After his studies in biology he was employed by the Social Welfare Department of the city of Zurich from 1996-1999. Subsequently he attended the first course in photojournalism to be held at the Medienausbidlungszentrum MAZ in Lucerne. He worked as staffer at the St. Gallen daily newspaper. In 2003 he got a grant from the arts council of the Canton of Thurgau for realizing the long term project about Migration in Europe. The resulting exhibition has been shown at various places. In 2006 he has been selected for the selection vfg.
